I've pm'd the doc as I'm still not totally happy with the car as mpg is pretty poor.

Hi Mate,

Only just saw this reply due to your PM - a wee bit busy at the mo, please ask them to put the car back to standard protected if needs be as I dont really want to know whats in there ;-)

I have an engineer in Scotland soon, I'll do your map for free but you'd need to pay him £125 for travelling to you and doing the spanner side or come to me / us and I'll do the whole job FOC

As it is the car still has the map on.
I'd rather not of went back the 180 mile round trip to flash it to standard.
As is the ecu is unlocked and was flashed through the eobd port.
I'd probably travel to you.

You'd need a very bright torch me thinks

Can you do it without me returning to standard?
Also when are we looking to do it?

Indeed,

Best case for my starting point is an original, stock healthy car, I also always like to work from the original file in a car rather than a "best, closest file" that I can get for a million and one reasons.

I'll talk so sedox if you don't mind and ask them if they will give me the original from your car if you don't want to go back or they won't put it back to original for you.

I may be able to work on your car via the OBD socket but I'd be very surprised if they have left the access to the ecu "unlocked" for anyone else to look at which means ECU out etc.

By all means if you want to talk to Sedox regarding its original file that's fine.
The ecu must be left open as they flashed several files back and forth.
They said if they flashed it to standard it would become locked again.
Looking forward to perfection.

FYI I'd love it to be locked again and standard...

If you flash 17122 files into it you can still put it back to standard.

So what do I need to do?
I emailed Dave a Sedox lastnight telling him I wanted the car returned to its original standard software but haven't heard anything today.
