How firm were you about requesting removal of the map and a refund?  Perhaps you need to be more insistent and kick up a fuss.

I asked 3 times but was told that it wasn't a software problem so no.
I don't understand how it can drive 90 miles there with plenty power and then get flashed and then sound like its got a boost leak?
Then be told its not software!
I even offered to pay the difference for Revo but that didn't happen either.
Although they have Revo signs advertising according to the Revo website they're not listed as an authorised dealer.

Get in contact with your local Trading Standards and see if they can offer a solution

To me its very poor customer service on their part............

Would they even agree to put you back to standard??

They didn't want to put it to standard because they said it would lock the ecu again!

If it were me i would have put you back to standard, carried out a diagnostic check, then remapped the cqr again and carried out more diagnostics to ensure it wasnt the software at fault

You dont simply dismiss customers concerns!!

Drop The Doc a PM as I know he has people up your way who might be able to help you out

How long have you had the map on the car? Do they have money back guarantee if you are not happy??

Seems like very poor customer service and a very dismissive attitude

If it were me I wouldn't leave it at that, I'd go back to them and demand further investigation as has been suggested.

I've left it at home and took the wife's 54 plate leon away on holiday for the weekend.
I'll see what next week brings

What awful customer care, I was torn between Revo and APR when I had my car mapped as I didn't fancy taking any chances on a 'smaller' outfit should there be any issues for the sake of a few hundred quid.

Good luck, I hope you can find a satisfactory outcome.

I think I may try and persevere until APR have finalised their cr170 map.
