Well just an update on this.
My car is sorted but it cost me to get it sorted.
What's was wrong with it?    SEDOX PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE.

After a long conversation with The Doc who was extremely helpful and knowledgable and was willing to map my car for free! It got me thinking.
As the Doc said previously the cr170 is not an easy car to map.
I needed my original stock file loaded on to the car so that Craig could remap my car.
Sedox were going to supply a newer version of standard map and not my original file. I felt this was totally unfair to expect Craig to try and map my car successfully from someone else's software, ie not good to start with.
I then contacted Revo who said they'd flash the car to stock first which they did and instantly the car was ultra quiet and drove perfect again, to the point that in most gears/revs it was quicker than before!!
I then had Revo stage 1 software loaded and the car has retained the quiet silky smooth performance it had standard only much much more powerful.
So its now cost me £784 on software for a stage 1 map which is now perfect.
I learnt the hard way.
If your mapping your car stick to someone who knows their stuff like Revo/APR and the Doc of course who ran a gtd and developed the software and knows what's what.
So if you want to enjoy some extra power without all the hassle I've had Avoid Sedox performance

You get what you pay for, Revo are a market leader for good reason IMO.

Good end result.

Yeah happy now mate.
I wanted Revo originally but was guided by Dave at Sedox (PDT) on the mk5 forum.
I guess people have different standards and mine must be higher than happy Sedox performance customers.

Yeah I think we like things right that's all.
Mind you unless you were deaf and compared it to a 1.2 corsa I can't see how anyone would've been happy
