R -tech did the remap....but excuse my stupid question....but when they remap the car, that effects the ECU so how will this increase the boost? Should I get a test done for a leak in my system? and if yes..how do I go about doing that
Because it is the Ecu (the brain) that controls everything I.e allows the engine to
Run At a certain boost pressure
As people have said check all hoses under the bay for any leaks, best wait is to just replace with silicone including vacuume hoses and then it's all sorte and also delete the PVC system and install a catch cahowlers are how to guides online)
Then try switching the maf and n75 (try do it with someone you know with a Golf 1.8t which is working properly rather then spending money on new parts which may not fix the problem. An of that doesn't work you could try buy a forge actuator
Thats all a good place to start
