electric mirrors

Ive just recieved the mirrors. I know that the brown is earth, the green/white is the switch and the black/yellow is the (+)

what about the other wires? They arent cut wires but have connectors on either sides of them on the mirror loom.

should i worry about these?

im guessing that some connectors on the loom go behind the fusebox

I think what you should have is 2 6 pin connectors on either mirror loom, these are joined together with another loom that goes inside the car between the 2 holes in the doors, and has 3 wires that connect inside the car, an earth a live and the wire that connects to the heated rear window switch:

3 = heated glass wire

My 'full loom' only came with 1x 6 pin connector for the drivers side, the passenger side was just cut and I have no loom from inside the car!

there's a black and a white 3 pin connector for each mirror.

there is a 6 pin connector, but it's not needed. it just links the drivers side mirror and controler switch to the fuse box and passenger's side mirror.

that means i have extra wires in the loom.

just pulled the mirrors off their casing.

I cant see no heating element. all i see are two extra wires that look like they go to the heating element (whch is missing)
 
Ohh and both motors are identical. you have to remember which way they go otherwise you will press up and the motor will go left etc etc

its missing the heater element that goes behind the mirror.

gotta buy new mirros with the heater element.

thats not too bad for what it is, I bet a main stealer would be expensive.
