Ollieb7 - Thanks I'm hoping not to get into too many fights as Land Rover are the first and only company out there offering a "CO2 Offset Programme"

Details: http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/Company/Sustainability/CO2_Offset_Programme.htm

Have you gone for it Doc? How much is it out of interest? Cheers.

Yes, its not an option and the cost is included in the vehicles otr price.

Prices are below - see link

Linky: http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/Company/Sustainability/CO2_Customer_Offset_Programme.htm

Read bit at bottom ( *All 2007MY Land Rovers will include the CO2 Offset Programme within the OTR (on the road) price. )

All customers will receive a CO2 Offset Information Card, a Vehicle Window Sticker and a certificate from Climate Care confirming their participation.

Nice PR spin

I think that is genius although suspect greenpeace will think of a way this is still bad! I hope more manufacturers start including this and will definitely wipe a smile off prius drivers! At present, we offset our home and car emissions though http://www.co2balance.com/home.php which works out about £50 a year for 6 trees.

a little more subtle methinks - poss just the "250" bit of the "morego-250" one under the GTI badge

also, do you think morego is pronounced "more go" or more exotically "moraygoh"

Has anyone else noticed that the Edition 30 has different front and rear lower bumpers? looking at the the pictures on the german site ..  http://www.volkswagen.de/vwcms_publish/etc/medialib/vwcms/virtualmaster/de/Models/golf0/Golf/media.Par.0057.File.pdf  they are definately more profiled than standard not just colour coded.
