Would that be the Leon Cupra R??

Phil - I'm sure you'll find the only difference is in the ECU map. I'm sure VW could do it but i wouldn't be surprised if they choose not to, to protect the Edition 30 in same.

Its not mad when you look at the price of a well specced 3 series.  I looked at a 335i Coupe and its £40k before you get heavy on the toys.  Also look at a lowly BMW 120d £23k for a decent spec and its only got 163bhp......

Dont hold their value as well either...

I'm guessing he means the new CTR (saw other post that he has a deposit down). Does look cool and I loved mine but also like the luxury feel of the golf - must be getting old!

Ollieb7 - Thanks I'm hoping not to get into too many fights as Land Rover are the first and only company out there offering a "CO2 Offset Programme"

For the whole car?
dalgleish it's like if you fit a none VW phone kit to your car. Any thing you touch head unit, wiring loom etc... you invalidate your warranty. So it's ONLY engine gear box etc not hole car. They told me that if I had a problem and VW refused to touch any part of car due to mods it was covered with there warranty. However if any thing happens with engine/gear box I was told to take it straight to morego and they will sort it.
I defiantly don't thrash the car as much now coz if you accelerate steadily (shifting @ 4-5 k) in D by the time you get into 6 you're knocking on 100 mph. Power delivery is so smooth with less lag, DSG shifts faster, plus there is power right to the red line. Just ran in the AP 4 pots so the skin is pulled off my face in both directions now. Just waiting for a fancier diff now.
It's true that there are a lot of potential draw backs to modding your car but you end up with a unique car to you. Best thing about the 250 is running away from smug Audi and BMW drivers who think there car's should be a lot faster.

Yep - i think that will work if you spec a tow bar and a bill board trailer for your Range Rover!

Thanks bullyboy for the morego info - definitely feel better about it now. Will keep you posted - just have to wait until Christmas bonus! Would quite like a tiny morego 250 sticker on the back so people know why they were beaten - sad I know!
