I'm really impressed with that colour, I'm not sure that I would go for it but I can definitely see why it's been so popular.

The image on the right is far more realistic, it never looks like the left.

The one on the right is more realistic. The other is closer to Atlantic blue.

Drove past my local VW dealer this evening and noticed they had a White Silver Golf and a Turmeric Yellow Golf. It was a bright evening, and the dealership was closed (so no annoying sales people around) so I stopped to have a closer look. It's the first Turmeric Yellow Golf I've seen in the metal.

I know that paint colour is a very personal thing and it's good that not everyone likes the same colours;
  • but I found the White Silver looked more dull grey than anything else, even in decent light, and IMO it did look like a car in it's primer coat and VW had forgotten to apply the colour coat (sorry White Silver owners!). It wasn't a performance Golf, and maybe with a different set of wheels and (if a GTI) coloured accents it would look better. Unfortunately, not for me though.
  • I loved the Turmeric Yellow! :cool:. It was also a non performance Golf (of the performance Golfs, only the R is available in Turmeric Yellow) ; I think it was the same model as the White Silver Golf, but IMO it looked stunning.
If I had to choose one of those two Golfs, I'd have gone for the Turmeric Yellow one. As it's probably a bit of a Marmite colour, it might not be as easy to sell in a few years' time as a White Silver Golf, but I thought it looked great.

Anyone seen a GTi in white silver? I have seen a few basic Golfs now in the colour and it really doesn't look good at all, just a pale grey really. Went to my dealer today as they had an indium grey GTE about to be delivered and given my order is currently for an indium GTi I wanted a look. Did look very good in the showroom maybe a darker colour than I would normally go for but really can't see another decent option. Love Pure White but have had a White GTD for almost 4 years now so kinda need a change I reckon.

Still time to change the order but currently think I will stick with Indium.
