Rarely use the ACC despite thinking the tech itself is great and seemingly more responsive in the later models having switched from 63 plate to 66 plate recently.
Would I option ACC? not really for use get out of it
BUT, having been saved by once and just having the knowledge of the front assist working passively away takes it now to the must have category on a new car for me.
You cannot have ACC without Front Assist, so ACC to me is just a bonus feature occasionally use.
If budget and car value was so good on second hand the lack of Front Assist would not stop me purchasing as second family car has no bells and whistles and it still does the same job as the R (gets to A-B and back) - If can get it, its great tech but if getting great value then its not a game breaker
One question for otthers though, is do you have to declare does not have front assist for insurance , or would your quote be automatically calculated by the Registration plate? as front assist does bring the insurance category down, i think?
