Its metalic grey, so something a little different. Has the upgraded 18s and VW Bluetooth, not sure if it has any packs on it, has the holdle for sunglasses in the roof lining and the bottle opener... The bodywork is mint though, has less marks on ones that I've seen with low mileage. No scratches on the rear bumper etc.

My plan is to upgrade it with money I get from my mk4 so if anyone's looking for one? Lol.

RNS 510, either rear parking camera or front and rear optical sensors, and cruise control.

Not sure whether to do the parking sensors myself and save some ££ my local VW specialists want 360 plus vat for OEM.

I need to buy VCDS as I said I would years ago and just used the cheap eBay cables, but ill get my money's worth now.

At some point I may stick a stage one map on, as I've always had mapped VWs, but plenty of kick in this car, especially when you've come from an 1.8t AGU with a stage one, not much in it.

Ill put up some pics at some point, its a pretty standard model, but I was looking at £14,000 for the same car without Bluetooth and poor bodywork... So all in all its a good deal.

Congrats on the GTD. I am currently looking to get a GTD but was wondering if it would be a good idea to wait till the end of August or start of September to buy? I know the new plates are out in september and so would this make a difference to older 10 or 61 plate cars?

Also any tips on where i should be looking as the price you are talking about is better than anything i can see on autotrader (im a novice)

Its a good point regarding the plates but my experience with VW is people will pay for the car not the age/miles. Unlike on a ford where a plate change would knock a large figure off.

I'm not sure if im allowed to post other places on here?

The usual, auto trader, ebay classifieds, pistonheads, motors and of course forums :).

VCDS is the best tool you will ever buy for a VAG vehicle don't bother with the cheap Chinese clones of fleabay.

Personally I would not bother with parking sensors if you plan to retrofit a rear view camera, its much better

Hey, heres a photo:

Excuse the rush & iphone quality though.

Its a real pleasure to drive, and do not doubt for a minute about getting it over a GT. From power to interior comfort it wins all round.

The PLAN for the time being is

VCDS (if anyone is selling their old one)
RNS 510 headunit.
Quick refurb on the lips of the front alloys as theres a couple of marks.

Rear camera etc will come later if i bother.

Looks good, check to see if you have any extra packs, check for heated seat symbols on the heater knobs, check for folding mirrors on the wing mirror adjustment knob by looking for a logo at 3o Clock. Tyre pressure monitoring by the switch in the glove box next to the turn off airbags.
