I opened my front hubs up with a large chisel and the struts pretty much fell out. You don't need to open it alot  :smiley:

Well that stopped before it even started. Lol my cusion thought he had all the tools we needed but all apart from the tool to undo the strut bolt grrrr gunna have order the tool from somewhere, went to toolstation and halfolds none of them had a tool i needed :( put on hold for another day

Easy tip when you wanna drop the hub of te strut is get a 1/4 inch wratchet with an extension hit the end into the gap at the back of the strut the. Turn the wratchet to open it  :cool:

You could use a stepped spanner and an allan key....



Something like that.

Thats what we didnt have. Went to halfords and they didnt have any.....

Ebay buddy. Iv got one somewhere but iv literally just moved houses so everything is everywhere atm  :sad:
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

18mm swan neck spanner and 8mm allen bit iirc.

It can also be done with an allen key down the centre of a spark plug spanner

Thought the bolt was 22mm?

it may be 22 , i cant remember not done it in ages . someone will know the answer for sure (or pop a socket on it to check) but that style of spanner will do ya fine
