So your tellin me when ever the mafs reading isn't right the engine cuts out?? No it just runs badly

And yeah otherwise there wouldn't be people out there who have hydrolysed their engines...

I'll do a video for you tomorrow mate to prove my point.

i will believe it when i see it

Well sort mate but I don't really care about any vids as I know that I hve driven with a boost pipe off before.
People have boost/vacuume leaks etc all te time and the and the car runs just not very nicely.

And 1.8t have been hydro locked before So it is possible.
Your car doesn't used the turbo at low rpm so why would it stalling affect the engine running?

Lol ive started summit here havnt i.

Yeah sorry mate I'm my normally one up for arguing but the dunndeal guy always seem ready to argue.

Hey im the newbie i cant pass comments on these things yet :-)

If i fit cat back and decat this will put management light on does it matter? I will be getting a remap but might not be able to do it straight after cat back fitting?

Found some performance manifolds to fit at same time are they worth doing?

It will be fine until its mapped mate just keep scanning it every now and then to make sure there arny any other codes, as you won't be able to tell as the engine light will always be on.

Personally I don't think buying a manifold is worth it with the power your looking for.
Should be fine standard or just remove your current one and port it

That good to know. So manifold only worth it for big mods etc. 240bhp roughly is ample for me coming from a old 120k 175bhp primera. As i want £££ left over for light, coilover window tints etc. As it going to cost a good 1500+ to get all me power toys as it is. Cannot wait to get my golf. I hate saving i want it now! :-(
