i went up against a import civic which was modified heavily apparenty (the white ones with red seats)... completely showed him up at the lights (when mine was standard 225 bhp)

they are weak... Just my opinion tho

Its a proper drivers car, not a bloody drag car. High revving all motor engines are the nuts.

I had the corolla T-Sport for a while, which was total bollox... That was 180 VVT. I do agree with you, but i think its how they are driven imo.

One of the people he bet was a modded DC2 import, match for match car, apart from the other guys was modded. revved stupid high etc etc... Still beat him though, just by timing VTEC properly and not nailing it off the line and not hitting VTEC in first.

For a NA car, not alot around NA and similar engine size that can keep up with it IMO. VTEC is getting phased out now anyway, due to tighter emissions, so HONDA are going to be building turbo petrol cars from now on. Which is a shame tbh

Thats a 1.6L 189bhp engined civic against a 1.8t 225bhp golf which weigh about the same weight so Id be surprised if yours didn't piss all over it. Now put the same car on a tight track and it will blow yours away.
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...
