So you get the idea of what I'm rambling on about   I have shamelessly stolen some photos from various threads. Sorry if I've stolen your picks!
This is the ASN way of doing it. 90 deg from the FMIC and 76 hosing which is reduced as late as possible.

Then the forge/SCN way of doing it with 45 deg from FMIC again reduced as late as possible but this time with hard pipes.

Then reduced from the FMIC with 45deg piping and 63mm piping the rest of the way

Then hard piping reduced from 76mm to 63 mm straight from the FMIC.

Like I said lots of different ways of doing the same thing! Have a look through the threads and see which way is best for you!

Have you got any pics of the above setup on a Mk4? I'm tempted by it but want the pipework discreet so I'd want to keep my grills in the bumper.

Im going to trial it different ways and see whats the best fit, I have ordered a K04 charge pipe and an LCR inlet manifold to make it easier though

Good lad!
I recived my 45 deg 76mm to 63mm reducer earlier. You can put your fist in the 76mm end, it's car porn!

So would an intercooler with 3" inlet/outlets be ok for around 250bhp or would it be overkill?

Would a smaller intercooler with 2.25" inlet/outlet be better suited?
