The dump valve is dumping but not enough so it's back fluttering on the turbo . Could the spring be to strong?

Theres a reason everyone is telling you to get a forge recirc ...... Its not like theyve got shares and are trying to make money there trying to help !

Yes I know but I don't want one hence why I have said it! I want help with a dump valve not a forge recirc , I know my car works fine on one as it had one fitted when I bought it and worked lovely

on my AGU, if a too stiff springs in the revs drop slowly with clutch disengaged due to turbo stalling. But I get no chatter noise, I also find it revs over 7200 rpm with a stiff spring in.

Yours works fine? Mine was running rich with a "dump Valve".(I may add it was on the engine when purchased  )
I have always been told if you have an air flow meter you shud NEVER run a dump valve.

If you want constructive advise then you should listen to what were saying.

If its not dumping enough then the spring is prob too weak maybe, is it making a noise under boost similar to a tyre with a loud puncture?? (sorry this is the best way I can describe it haha)

Sounds like the dump valve is letting air through it under boost to me.

Tbh the dump valve sounds like a duck quack lol but it still flutters through the filter. When I got it there was no issue with anything it boosted fine and worked perfect

people on here cant advise you on a DV because quite simply there crap on the 1.8T engine and cause problems.
