painic!! overheating! engine overheating?

Hey guys i was wondering if i could pick your brains. When im driving along since last night as soon as the turbo kicks in or at around 2000 revs the temp kicks up its not overheated yet but what do you think it is?

Its a 1.8 t 180 bhp auq

have you checked/lost any coolant favourate would be water pump or also check fusebox on top of battery make sure that hasn't gone into melt down mode stopping cooling fans kicking in

Any idea how much to replace water pump?

cam belt and tensioner will need doing at the same time too

with the engine running and up to temp is there any water coming back into the header tank via the small top pipe?

The cam belt got changed 6000 miles ago, is it a job I can do my self? And how much to change commercially ??

You will have to remove the cam belt to fit the new pump  :smiley:
