Well I only finished it this evening so haven't scanned yet I will have to get some body to do it tomorrow, I thought the imobiliser would have been ok as I used all the new things from the same car. The only thing is that when I press the buttons on the new key nothing happens?

Not always, they tend to start then cut out straight away.

It seems weird to me I mean how could a key work on one car then move the ecu clocks ignition barrel to a diffrent car then it won't work? Surley all this problem with it starting then cutting out 3 seconds later and the fact the key is not working it must be an imobiliser fault? I had a problem with a few of the electrical conections expesially the 3 that are underneath the scuttle pannel on the drivers side 1 of them was differnt it had 3 wires on the 1.6 and 4 wires on the 1.8t so I chopped the 1.8t block off and connected the 1.6 block to it. Anybody come across this before if so what did they do? Any help appreciated.
