Now just pray that you don't get a dry socket now the extraction has taken place as I swear it was a good two weeks of the most excruciating pain ive ever encountered in my life, so much i ended up over medicating and hospitalising myself for 2 days.
What ever you do, DO NOT SMOKE AFTER A WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION FOR AT LEAST 24 HRS! MASSIVE FAIL!!!

Good luck, I've had all my wisdom teeth out, one impacted done under general. The recovery was long and painful. I also developed a problem with the corresponding ear which made me constantly dizzy and nauseous.

There were times I found myself wishing I hadn't had it taken out but now so glad that I did!

Uppers are nothing compared to lowers though.

just had the little fatherless son out. had a local anaesthetic in the end. it's just wearing off now and the pain is kicking in. waiting for the grumpy bear within to rear his head and then i'm gonna kick the granny out of something in frustration

worst bit was when they use a flat bladed screwdriver to lever it away from the other tooth. she had a bit of grief getting the grips on it as it was barely through. barely felt the injections.

nice lol,i was awake when they took 2 of mine out ,,bottom 1 think took him bout 40 mins to get out literally kneeling on the bed next to me and i could feel it with the pain relief grrrr,top one easy as ,bout 5 mins lol,but touch wood no problems since

i have heard the bottom ones are right bastards but luckily mine was a top one. my bottom wisdom teeth are through and not giving me problems so fingers crossed. This was the first tooth i've ever had removed and i'm 30 now so doing ok i think. no other problems other than this.

just waiting for the pain (although i've taken 3 paracetamol and 3 ibuprofen

). if it's not too bad i might go for a game of snooker lol

Dont mess with Gas in pain mate

You find concentration and paitence goes right out of the window when in pain

I've had five out in one go and a transplant the fifth one grew out of the roof under the pallet

i had mine out at guys hospital so was free

i have the day off and poss tomorrow if i fancy it!
