There probably looking at yours as a modified car so knocking the price down
They are also prob thinking of delivery time so knocking the price down again as yours will be worth X amount less in X months time.

EDIT
Glad you got a deal, must say i have been impressed with Pulman Durham sales in the past. I delt with a guy there called John Wade iirc he was a bit of a car nut.
Whats the delivery time scale for your R?
Must admit i fancy a fully loaded Ed35 but am scared to even ask about cost to change.

There's a £1500 difference in PX value if i hand my GTI over by the end of the month or if i hand it over when the R arrives in 4 months time(ish).

The salesman is saying around 4months for a factory order.

Gone for Rising blue, manual, 19" tallawotsits, colour MFD, Electric folding door mirrors with puddle lights.

Couldn't decide at first between rising blue with silver wheels or reflex silver with black talladega's  :undecided:

It's a factory order so a 4month wait(Hopefully!)

Blimey. Manual? Don't you know it will be 0.00000001 seconds slower 0-60?

Lovely spec!

(How much do you want for your Milltek?)

Reducing my Golf count by the week....

Don't like DSG (Run's and hides before the DSG lovers come out in force AGAIN! ) but that's just my opinion.

I'll take £250 from a forum member for the milltek OR a set of wheels!
