yeah got it fixed mate. Take a look at the signature pic 

lucky the inner wings wernt touched.

i think you should get it fixed mate. mk2 parts are dirt cheap

Well like I said the inspection is Tuesday so I'll keep you guys posted. Once I've got the report I've got a few friends in the trade i'll call and see what they think is possible.

I'm soooo  gutted though

Check that the leading edges of the upper parts of the front doors match up with the windscreen surround. If the gap is not continuous (eg the top has a bigger gap than bottom or vice versa) bin the car.

The payout on the car is gonna be crap. It doesn't matter what you think the car is worth, they pay the book, and the book is always low.

On the plus side, I would say that does look repairable. The outer wings look ok and as tinman says if the door gaps are the same then it shouldn't be anything too major. Even the bonnet looks unscathed It may look bad, but from what I can see, I've done worse repairs than that in the past

Sorry to see that David  If possible try and get her fixed, I for one on here can say how sweet it looks in person.
