Sorry not replied just remove engine cover/airbox and unplug each coilpack and check the part number

Popped into dealers today. Service girl checked Vin number. GTI already has good coils. OK

Basically, if your GTi is Regestured roughly prior to April 07, there is a 95% chance, your car is in the recall.
Call your dealer with your reg number to confirm.

Found mine comes under the recall so booked in for Wednesday so hopefully will get rid of my missfire and back to normal.
