Mine was in getting the Air con re-gassed yesterday and mentioned this issue...found out my car is included in the recall.

My friendly local dealer called me today to tell me new coils had arrived so booked it to get done...car itself has no issues but may as well get it sorted as its FREE!

I've just called up and booked mine in. Maybe they can fix my lose air filter hose while they are at it?!

had mine done yesterday, no difference at all.

stealers want £249 to replace front brake discs and pads and £162.32 for EACH of the 4 tyres.

Politely declined, stating I will be going elsewhere to save some money better spent on my baby than their salaries.

She didn't like that did dealer lady!

3169 for DSG service seemed reasonable though??? so may return for that when due.

From the guys who have had this done already? How long does the job take to complete? Is it a leave the car with them the whole day job or can they turn it around in a few hours?

Cheers!

15-20 mins max, but depends on how fast it hits the ramps once you had over your keys.
