Had my Philips X-Treme Vision bulbs inserted by VW dealer today. They had to re-align my lights including high beam. All done FOC.
Philips seem less yellow, brighter & with less scatter. So worthwhile IMO.
A half-way house between standard Halogens and Xenons. Maybe good enough for me for now. :undecided:

BTW they could not get the driver's side new bulb working. I had already taken a picture of the standard bulb working. They said the standard bulb was not working either. I showed them the picture. Rotten eggs on their faces, so therefore, FOC. Hope they did not put their grubby hands on the quartz 'glass' surface. Hopelessly hopeless.

Buck: Sorry no pictures. I did take before and after ones, but as they were no good, I have not posted them.

Buck you asked, so here it is:
They said it was their belated X-mas present to me. They have even offered me a full valet worth £80 whenever I want one. All because I am charming, respectful, kind, stylish + elegant and most of all, fun. Their words, not mine.

Oh, I forgot, they felt sorry for me due to my accident.

Miracles can happen!

Anyone seen any very very very very very very very very very bright LED replacments for W5W that are used as sidelights on the xenon cars as im looking at trying to fool the car into thinking it has the new LED DRL xenon lights but use the older xenon sidelight as the DRL.
