Quite. Taught us a good lesson.
A real PITA.
I'll get the Philips inserted tomorrow and will personally inform you in the customary manner.
Hi - did you get the bulbs fitted
First thoughts?

Sorry, I did not today as I am a lazy sod with a very bad left shoulder. Will try insertion tomorrow before 12 noon.
Promise I'll post on this thread and will also attempt pictures: before and after.

Bought some Night Breaker Plus today, went to fit them and gave up 2 mins!!!! Looks too bloody complicated, how do you get the old bulbs out.

Remove the rubber cap (largest one).
Reach round into light housing and you'll feel a flat peice of plastic at a slight angle like this /.
Turn it anti-clockwise about half an inch and hey presto, the bulb carrier will pop out.
The bulb itself will just pull out of the carrier and replace it with the new one(it'll only fit one way)
DO NOT TOUCH THE BULBS WITH BARE FINGERS! as this can cause condensation.
Reverse the above to refit
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

It can be quite fiddly, especially the passenger side one

This is what it looks like from the back, turn in direction of arrow.

Or get a young person to do it, I personally have hands like shovels and can't squeeze em in (oh err mrs) so a friend with child like hands assisted done in seconds and I was happy!!!!!. On a serious note its getting a bit daft that we can't replace bulbs these days with out dropping bumpers and the like..

Paul:
As I have delicate and manicured long fingers, I'll pay to get mine inserted by a pair of ruined hands.

Fitted the Night breaker Plus, very easy in the end.  Passenger side was tight but still easy to fit.

They look loads better than the standard lights, a worthwhile investment.
