I saw earlier Doc referring to H11 bulbs, what are these for?

D1S it was sir, for dipped and main beam (via shutter) in xenon headlamps.

Hopefully the new phillips bulbs will improve the cars kerb crawling ability

You are a married man and should know better.
Sadly, I don't think they will do quite what you require as well as Bi-Xenons. You might see a bit more leg, but that's it.
But, they do have Xenon gas in them.
I just want to see those over productive pot holes more clearly.

Sorry, I did not today as I am a lazy sod with a very bad left shoulder. Will try insertion tomorrow before 12 noon.
Promise I'll post on this thread and will also attempt pictures: before and after.
