first things were first, needed tyres, but only cos they were all odd and one was nearing the limit, so found some vr wheels with 200mile old premium contact 2 tyres on them, he had them on ebay for 180 but i mailed him and said, today is the only day i can come buy them how bout 140? he said cos i was coming a fair way take 120, so off i went in company car
(as i still had it then) and picked them up, rims not as good as i hoped but tyres were all spot on,
problem with one was cos they hadnt been used for a while and were knocking on the rim was leaking, so had to do sand down inside by hand around the edges to stop the slow puncture.

as i write this, cos its in the present and this was oct 09, i have since decided i want a set of originals like it had on, but powder coated white (as my friend has a new job where this is gonna be possible, if i refurb em myself) , which after my hol next week ill be keeping an eye out for, but first a bit of body work, (see later)
