In this weeks Auto Express mag there is an indepth report on what it's like to live with the GTD.
The report is very much in favour of the GTD but what is not so good is:
"the red paint of our test car adds to its racy looks - but it comes at a cost. Yes, you save £430 by opting for a solid shade, but metallic finishes have a strong lacquer that makes them very hard wearing. And the soft paintwork on our Golf is already stone chipped in places".
Their car has done 2496 miles.
Gizzy
That is why I had mine Toughsealed. Yet to see it!
The dealer said it made the Tornado Red colour look really fantastic with greater depth with an amazing shine and finish. They were most impressed.
Am I worried?
Tough sealed how or where do I get that and what does it envolve? I have ordered Tornado Red and my mk5 is Tornado Red and I don't think its that bad as it has covererd 60K miles.
