What have people got and what would people recommend for paint protection. Superguard, toughseal, Others ?
and does anyone know where i can get it done? I live in Hull my car is arriving within the next couple of weeks (maybe Pickup on  Sunday) and it's white so i might protect the paintwork.

I decided to go for Toughseal.
Speak to Stuart Grimshaw at Eurochem/Toughseal/Splash.
He protected my Tornado Red GTi. He is very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job both inside and outside.

Save your money on paint protection with a dealer and do it yourself with a good wax. While it may have some short term benefits on bird poo, environmental contaminants etc, longer term it won't be there in any great quantity to serve any useful purpose. It most definitely won't give any significant protection against stone chips. It really is just "emperors clothes" that garages are making a quick earner on.

I agree... I bought some decent polish, wax, shampoo, mitt and 2 buckets with grit guards - and spent a day washing / waxing.  The SupaGuard my dealer offers isn't great, and costs about £250 if I remember correctly.  I'd rather spend the time and effort doing a proper job myself and using quality products - which cost a bit less.

ETTO though...

I'd never have any form of paint protection on my car, would spoil the joy of cleaning it.

Proper wash, snowfoam, claying, polishing, glazing, sealing, waxing, more waxing to fade........
