There isnt an argument, it IS a development of the MK5, FACT. Just look at the picture of not only the outside but the interior, SO similar. Its even got the shame chassis !! This is by no means a bad thing.

Its a MK5, just a tiny bit better

I just cant work out why people get angry over everyone saying its just a tweeked mk5, its not like it costs 10k more than a low mileage mk5, or is slower than ed30, or doesnt come with a V6 model?
