I'm not angry at all , just dont agree with it being a 5.5 , I have driven it a few times now and its a brilliant motor for me its about the refinment. If I didnt think it was a better car I wouldnt have bought one!! I currently have an Editon 30 now going over to the mk6!! Alans he's just jelious co'z he's on the bus's & tubes  :grin: :rolleyes: :laugh:

The mk 6 is an improvement in all respects (apart from price).

The chassis is the same but not too much else. It is more refined, faster, economical, greener and better to drive.
Some would even say it looks better.

I traded in my mk 5 (which was an excellent car) for my mk 6.

Glad I did it, every day.

Wasn't expecting my new 6 to be much different from the 5 after all the comments ive heard. Ive been shocked though. The MK6 is better in every single area than my MK5 and the quality is the best ive had since my MK4. My MK5 golf was pretty poor quality by golf standards, although still a great car. :laugh:

Jules, stop trying to bait us mk6 owners, your comments are getting boring.  No mk6 owner is saying the car is amazingly better than a mk5, we're happy that it's an evolution of the Mk5, happy that the R replaces R32 and a few cars stock are clocking bhp's matching an ED30. You don't seem to like the MK6 so why don't you keep on the MK5 section instead of trying to wind us up?
