Making a profit on the car Jules !!?

Good work lad.

Fingers crossed mate

So if by the 'caught the big one' snipe you are on here just baiting people, you need to get out more mate if that's what gives you kicks.

Enjoy your mini, just enough room in the boot for your curler kit shampoo and scissors.......
Bloody brilliant that one Gossa hahahaah

Still reeling em in

Definitely getting a mini, going to view a fully loaded JCW if my car sells for what i have been offered for it on saturday. Should see a nice profit if she buys it

Thats got be going backwards from a mk5 to a mini JCW?????

It is mate, im buying a property while there cheap.
At 190bhp/ton though it will easily keep up with a remapped GTI so should be fun for a while and they hold there value very well!
Will be more for the missus than me though (she is going as first on insurance) to save for a year and see what i can get next christmas, im keen on either a RR sport (new model), 335i (autovogue with 370bhp) or something cheaper like an S3 with some nice mods.

Still reeling them in?

Do you really come on here and just drop anti mk6 misquotes to get a reaction? haha, fool, you really do need that mini mate, go on, off you trot.....quicker the better......

Plus it's not all about 'keeping up with a remapped mk6', at the traffic lights people will look across at you with your baby face, in your girly mini with body kit and think, 'ah, what a sweetie, i bet he takes it up the gary'.

Just a heavy facelift & thats why the Mk6 will have one of the shortest life span compare to other previous Golf models. Due for replacement in 2012. VW shorten the life cycle of the Mk5 because it takes too long to build the car (number of hours to build a car) compare to Ford Focus & the rest. Long hours means less profit for them!
The chassis & roof are carried over from the Mk5 & some other parts as well. It should be called a Golf Mk5.5!

I just dont get why that upsets some people :undecided:/

Yes they share a common platform, but the important stuff is different... certainly nothing to be sniggered at.

Indeed mate, they just improved something that was good.

I think its mostly previous mk5 owners trying to justify the extra 10k it costs to get a mk6.
