You seem to be rebuilding engines and gearboxes on a daily basis, do you have a social life?? Is your routine work>car>sleep>work>car>sleep>work>car>sleep?

:afro:
yes work at nettos , once the tunieing is spot on as its a learning curve ,, carnt fault me trying a homemade project from scratch and getting everything just about right , apart from a engine problem , , ive proved u can get over 300bhp from a stock engine , but i will prove u can tunie over 400/450 on a stock engine ,,,ill get there ,,, as i shove engines to ther limits and beyond...

,ps had a dam noise which sounds like a stuck hydrolic tappit/bad cam lob/stuck injector to a piston hitting the head , but yet the engine idiols 10percent better then the old 2.8 head ,and rev responce is deferntly better, pecent 14.7afr on idiol  ,didnt sleep too well  last night thinking about this knocking noise , i had a bit of thinking and came up with a easy idea (should have thought of this first off) ,,,this may sound odd but very effective,,,, i used a screwdriver(one end in my ear and the other end touching things around the clyinder head, found the dam noise within 5mins ,, and the noise is , the injectors,,,,,nothing bad , as u see from the early pics , the back 3 injectors  have steel bodys on them which are pulseing/echoing threw the clyinder head ,,i only put 3 small bits of rubber to try it and bingo all the noise instaintly went ,,,, fueling set up only runing 8psi at mo ,but it will soon be back with a safer 20psi

yearh it is ,, lol ive still a tappy noise thow
bit of a fuel problem at mo i think as its runing extra learn on idiol
so thought it was because i chopped the fuel feed off the rail as the boost pipe was in the way and fitted it directly in the side , made no change so , remoded it and added a pressure check for the fuel pressure

pic of engine at mo

not be long before boosting is back and runing sweet again

bit of an update , r32 engine at mo

runing well so far lol, runiing 100percent better on dual map setup , only boosting at 12psi so far as im runing the piston rings in and the paddle clutch for a 500mile period
then had a go at panel beating lol

got the tailgate working too (first its been working properly since i started the project

next i alterd the rear wheel camber , and finding out there is too mutch due to tyre starting to wear, so some modifying is needed i reckon

made a start on the left and right hand therded bar so i can adjust the camber on the caddy instead of removeing the arms

tempory idea how one will look ,(once ive welded them in that is )

hi pal yep that is correct only reason i fitted the r32 head as it isbigger and better for airflow which will bolt onto the 2.8 4 motion v6 block of the 24v engine not the earlyer 12v models  and everything times up fine , exhust manifolds fit identical , ull need custom head bolts and a differnert inlet manifold as the r32 has one bolt difernert on the end ,,other then that its been runing fine ,
ive jus got my 4bar map daddy sensor comethew so re tunie can carry on

thought id make a homemade compression tester quick 5min joby as i couldnt find a tester with the correct plug therd on the r32 head , so used a stock plug removed the bits and brazed the steel and brass togther and added a few o rings and a quick test , works a treat

works a treat all clyinders nicely show 8 with the homemade compression spacer
