yep as the first fuse to go is the one that controls the central locking, windows and interior lights!

yeah i know, ive had that problem in the past, in the pitch black and my window was stuck open. got i sorted in the end though lol

Always a good idea to disconnect the battery when working on electrics

Old plug end               New plug end

3                                4

2                                5

1                                3

1 (wire runs down to fuse box for + feed)

The ends on the wires you have labelled 3 4 and 5 look like they will slot straight into your standard plug so just use the diagram above. Rhyso is right, the bullet ended wire will be the one needed to run down the A pillar to the grey/blue wire off the back of the dimmer switch to give the illumination (and dimmer controlled)

Give me a shout if you need any help on this as I used to make and sell the adaptors

Wazzr i really think you should start making those looms again, they're only available of Kufatec for £22ish!

Tim

Yeah wazzzer  i would have brought the w8 loom and bora loom from you too!

I think you will find he is too busy to make them now tim

That's annoying;)

I want the light but can't be bothered to pay £22 for the loom, unless i ordered bulk of them (shippage stay same) and flogged em on for a small profit.

Really don't trust myself with wiring!

Is there another method other than soldering?

I fancy one of these sometime in the future.
