This thread was only one page long at lunch time!!!!

Yes people need to be thicker skinned and not take everything said on a forum to heart.  But at the same time manners cost nothing as my mum used to say!

Life is way too short to take an internet forum personally.

I mean, seriously!??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a person wants to post, then they should feel free. If you feel that another person has been rude to you then just forget it. 9 times out of 10 it is just the impersonal aspect of written communication that is being taken the wrong way.

Who cares if some chump disagrees with you. Everyone is entitled to voice their own opinion, just deal with it, listen and take in views that you accept and just disregard everything else.

I will be honest, i haven't even read more than a paragraph of what you wrote, as wasting about 15 minutes of my life reading about someone else's woes just doesn't seem worth it to me.

I hope you dont feel that I have attacked you personally - my views above apply to anybody in a similar situation.

If I were you, id go spend some of your well earnt money!!! Only live once.............

I think you're mistaking one person on the forum having a dig at you for 'being discussed at length' as you put it, because sorry chap but I've no idea who you are

Suprised this hasnt been shifted to off topic if im honest

..yawn.

well, rules is rules like you pointed out previously

maybe we need this one over here

Not aimed at anyone in particular.

Ignore the convoluted story, it was necessary to give background as to why I was posting. It’s simply about the different cultures of here and “the dark” side and the impression you’ve given me as a new user.

I haven’t come for pity or to carry on a fight – I just wanted to discuss your culture and see why it was ok for people to slag off UK-MKIVs and its users, when we’ve never done anything like that to you.

As far as I was concerned the grilles thread was done and dusted, everyone gave as good as they got. Some people had the good grace to leave it as that, some didn’t. I just felt it reflected badly on your forum. Previous threads, rantings and personal abuse have likewise left an impression on other people & companies too.

The difference is I’ve come on here and tried to discuss it, I’ve made myself look like a right knob for doing so – but so be it. I don’t feel I have been unconstructive with my feedback and I haven’t tried to get anyone’s back up. I’ve read the abuse in this thread from some of your more eloquent users that has been left to stand and frankly it backs up my thoughts.
