Shouldn't you be out fixing your car?

ha ha ha.... yeah the build quality of the old models can't compare to the mk5?? I guess that's why there's so many mk5 owners on here!! as they all need something to do while there cars in for yet more warranty work....

Boney, remember Mr Nosh is in the minority, no need to have a swipe at all of us......

Most likely trade it in to the same moron who sold me it

Changed it anyway, doesn't really portray my car in a very good way.

I think you're mistaking one person on the forum having a dig at you for 'being discussed at length' as you put it, because sorry chap but I've no idea who you are

As for TT, well noone here argues with him as much as I do, but its all done without causing offence and mostly in good humour. As said numerous times now - seems like a personality clash. Happens in real life, happens on the internet, nothing you can do but suck it up and move on. (and that applies to you too TT! )

As for the advertising, we never have, and never will actively go out looking for sponsors or advertisers. They come to us, and we decide if they're 'worthy' (for lack of a better phrase), we'd rather pay for it all from our own wallets than promote, however indirectly, any company we weren't 100% sure would fit with our high standards, and we sure as hell wouldn't let them dictate what can or can't be said about their services or products so long as it isn't libel/defamatory - if it is, it gets deleted as soon as we see it.. if we don't see it, that's why we have a 'report to moderator' link on every post. So if they don't have the confidence in their own products to put them out here for our prying and critical eyes, perhaps they should just stick to glossy mag full page spreads, because it will get picked apart. Rest assured we're aware of the completely obsolete and archaic laws surrounding these issues.

Lastfinalfourthly  as i stated in the 'dark side' thread, Tabs' forum has been no end of help to me over the years.. and I would hope if he has any issues which he feels he can't deal with himself and requires admin attention from our side he'd come and talk to myself or jv. If there are any ill-feelings between forums they certainly aren't coming from the admin team. I've already apologised to him for links to our site posted on his, but I'm sure he appreciates anything this lot do over yonder is completely out of our control.

edit: 20 new replies were posted while you were typing your message... SPAMMERS!
