Read that thread on UKMKIV's and thought that Tony came across as the antagonist on a crusade to justify his 'open grilles' and stamp out any disagreement thereof. This is just a case of a clash of two 'opinionated' personalities.

What I don't understand is why you felt the need to make this thread. Get over yourself.

Can I have the last fifteen minutes of my life back?

JV - my blanket "culture" statement was out of line, a long day at work and not articulating what I was thinking properly to blame.

FWIW - I'm in no way trying to stir up anything, I have no agenda, I'm not trying to prove a point. However, I've laboured this to a point now where it just sounds like I'm ranting, which I didn't want.

I think there's always been a good relationship between the two forums and long may that continue. I wouldn't want it any other way.

I'll end it there.

Fair Play Tony, i thought you would have been over not long after that post was posted. You have put your case fwd and wouldn't say you made an ass of yourself, I respect anyone who will come back themselves up.
I have to say and will get pelters for it but certain members of the Ukmkivs forum aren't very accomodating either. The forum has as i stated on the previous post its gone right down hill but thats for the owners to deal with. There are more than a few barnys gone on over there, misinformation, slagging products etc, mention ed30 and they come at you lol.
TT has his opinions i have mine when i first joined he didnt have high opinions of GIAC after my own research it didn't put me off getting them as my 'mapper' and i also thought he slated RR a bit but after time i figured everyone here has an opinion hence why were here.He knows his stuff and contributes a lot he has said on a few occassions he doesn't pretend to know everything. Then there are some who just post cack( i might be one lol)Recently i have moved out from the safe haven of the mk5 section and dabbled in the mk2&3 section and most of the folk have been very helpfull so over all i'd say this site and the users are very good and i would encourage you to stay theres some good stuff here.

anyway i think i made sense there to me anyway  :undecided:
