Quick one.I found a small screw in my rear R/H side tyre just now. It was a very small screw, only about 1cm in length and thankfully it had gone through the thick/deepest thread so I don't think it made it far enough in to do any real damage and the tyre hasn't lost any air.My question is - is the tyre ok or should I just have it changed to be safe? I don't fancy a high speed blow-out on the motorway if the tyre has been weakened or compromised in any way, but it was a tiny screw and I'm pretty sure it hasn't done any real damage.The tyres are Michelin Pilot Exaltos.What to do? Cheers.BTW, I took the screw out in case that wasn't clear..
If it was the sidewall, I'd say get it replaced.
