It was on the way home tonight, no rust build up on the disc that I can see
perhaps its just me , or the fact the brakes are getting damp therefore rusting a bit but i have noticed that there a little noisey when coming to a stop, nothing bad, a bit like my grooved AP discs were (which you expect a little), anyone else get this, or are my ears super sensitive
Is this just first thing in the morning? And have you noticed a rust build up on the surface of the disc?
Or are they making the noise all the time?
OK, sounds like the pads are partially seizing in the caliper slides. Quite common in the winter/damper months.
Tomorrow, look at the calipers - through the wheels, and have a close look at the "hammer heads" of the brake pads. If they look dry, then the calipers probably just need stripping, the pad guides need cleaning and de-rusting, and a thin smear of anti-seize paste - such as copaslip. That should quieten them down.
Post a close up pic if you arn't sure.
