Multi-Function Wheel

The buttons on my multi-function wheel don't look like those I see in other peoples pics..  I have all the same buttons in the same locations but the buttons themselves look different.  The buttons in the following pic look like they could be levered out with a sharp object (please don't try this) but on mine there is no gap around the button.  Hope that made sense?

Yes like those, I take it the buttons were redesigned at some stage?

^^not sure, could have been, or your MFSW could have been retro fitted ?

the mfsw buttons changed to the present design shown above sometime in 2007.
