Even if we do get plaques, how official are they going to be?
I think we need a certificate of some sort with the registration of the car on inc build number etc to go with the plaque.

Hi Guys,

Sorry I’ve not had much chance to check out the forum recently, mega busy at work.

I have emailed VW 3-times, and no reply as of yet (that was weeks ago).

I too received letters earlier in the year, explaining that plaques would be forthcoming.

However a big fat zero!

Time will tell   :smiley:

Even if VW UK have told you the plaques will come, it's likely to be down to VW Germany and they'll simply please themselves and take their time doing so.

You need to contact VW Germany imo and do so in a concerted effort by snail-mail as well as email and also within a similar timeframe.

hurdy , is it not possible for you to write some sort of letter from GOLFGTI.CO.UK on behalf of the many ed 30 owners who are feeling a little pissed off about this ?????? and i think the time has come for as many as possible to write to vw at the address above :evil:

I agree a group letter would help.

I think sending it to the UK MD and copying VW Germany is the way forward.  :smiley:
