Edition 30 Plaques

Since I called VW customer care today regarding the issue in this thread http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=90300.0 I also decided to ask them what was happening with the plaques for the Edition 30. Whilst they weren't able to help with the query on the maintainence, passing an 0870 number for the maintainence  :angry: helpline, they placed me on hold regarding the plaques.  The operator then came back to me and stated that there would not be anly plaques made for the ED30 and that hearsay in magazines and "official" emails from VW (as seen on this forum) are not true ????

Just thought I'd keep you all updated.

I think there is more chance of me becoming Prime Minister than these plaques actually being made and successfully distributed. Especially since some are now 2nd or even 3rd hand, it would be impossible. They wouldn't want half with a plaque and half without.

Before everyone panics, has anyone else phoned to see if everyone at VW are singing off the same bullsh!tsheet hymn sheet :undecided:

Blue, you have a letter from VW, could you pleeeeaaaase phone and check for all us ED30 brothers :smiley:
