I bought my ED30 second-hand from VW dealer.

How can I ensure I get a plaque?

you need to ensure your registered on the VW system as the present owner

Makes sense that they will be doing something similar - easy to install yourself.

Looks a little rubbish though compared to the embossed GTI one, hope the Ed30 looks better than that
