The power controller is something different altogether, as you described it a piece of hardware which allows you to set different engine maps/settings on the fly, ie race/wet/dry. Although I believe you have just setting 1,2, etc, no direct translation of these settings into race/wet/dry.

The adjusted TC is standard in the remap, even in the stage 1 remap which brings the 2.0 TFSI to the 'normal' remap values of approx 250 bhp.

JD is one of the most respected VAG tuners here in the Netherlands, probably rated above Revo/Abt/Oettinger/OCT which are the other top remap providers in the VAG scene. JD (Jeroen) himself is running a GTI (no Ed30) with DSG which was last reported to be running approx 426 bhp. Also various Seat/VW dealers offer his remap as a dealer option, keeping the warranty (although by the dealer and not VW NL).
