I prefer having a car that is a bit different to the norm mate, I could have afforded to just buy a GTi but to be honest I didnt want to - different people different strokes, anybody can buy a Gti but how many people can say they did everything to their car to my extreme themselves with help from 2 or 3 mates?

I understand you wanting to be unique but to say r32 bodykits should only be on r32's is silly imo as its a nicer front bumper then the standard one and also is functionable, could have my front mount with a standard bumper

and get all those extras that come with the original as well...

thats just my opinion ash like i said im not a fan of replicas at all if someone wants to thats fine but i laugh at reps as it just means they cant afford the real thing.... and done even have the power ect of the real thing

1) Because a) then I could choose the engine I want (aum - KO3s) and engine cost me £700 so its not that much is it, if you upgrade to a KO3s on your engine you got to spend £250 just for the turbo. And another reason is when I smash a Gti and lean over and say "this used to be a 1.4" I get a feeling of reward everytime, other people just go oh its just a Gti so expect it to be quick?

3) When you say extra's what exactly do you mean electric windows, a/c, traction control? Well correct me if im wrong but yours is a Gti and you dont have A/C or ESP?  Electric windows? Not too bothered about it but if I was it would be an afternoons work and £50?

3) About replica's? Not having the power of the real thing? a) Mine isnt an R32 rep hence the rear bumper smoothed b) no I cant afford an r32 and dont want one the v6 is a petrol killer c) my car has got more power then an r32?

Sorry to break you down but the things you are saying just dont make sense to me, sorry if I offended any other Gti owners here I just want to explain to Linz the reason and method behind the madness

each to there own ash as for air con i choose not to have it its an extra that doesnt interest me and i dont see the point of gettin one with ac if i aint gonna bother to use it its jus an extra cost that i dont need

Slight contradiction there darling! What extra's do you get that you use that I dont have? I dont need any of the extra's that a Gti has, not being pedantic but do you see my point?

lol ash i no we all have fair points at the end of the day i like the fact my gti came with the red/black recaros and the fact its an original

Ashs Golf is pushing more power than an R32. 

I don't really get what you're saying as its making little sense to be honest. Just because someone used a part off another car it means they want the real thing Well in Ashs case he's only used the front bumper...  So whatever you add has to be 100% original. I'm sure you own replicas of something Linz even if you don't realise it.

So if you've aero wipered your rear you want a mk5 Golf. Go and buy one the  or can't you afford it.
