i doubt it rhyso, hense lack of any responce from him.

well since i posted that he's updated that thread and sadly he does own a really sh!te car with an even sh!tter remap!!

Hows it a sh!te remap?  It gives a 33% power increase haha.  Not sh!t atall.  ;)

And I didn't go quiet, I went out for a drive.  Beat some kids off the line at the lights.  Was laughing at them in thier lil Polo... Untill I torque steered into a tree and died :(

Finally, it's not a wanna be VXR.  If I wanted a VXR I would of bought one? lol.  Its a quick diesel, that keeps up with, or exceeds the majority of the standard "Hot Hatchs" on the roads, ie CTR, ST's GTIs and VXRs but still gives me 40mpg ;)

I'll take you out for a spin sometime? haha

One of these guys that has watched Fifth Gear and is convinced that the CDTI is as quick as a VXR... In 5th gear @ 30mph at a rev maybe, but balls out I don't think so. Have mates with both VXR and 888 and as well as the 888 goes (in certain situations) it's not as quick in s straight line.. Good on the twisties though..

ScottR, To be fair them boxes are pretty sh!te, drive my car and you will agree...theyre so bigged up on AON website its ridiculous and you wont see 40mpg if you cain it, I got 100 miles from £20 of diesel which is no were near 40mpg.

It isnt even a remap, it just over fuels your engine (plugs into the common rail and over fuels like a tart). Clearly you wont hear anything bad about them on AON because Andrew is the owner of the site and DTUK. Ask Leishy on AON, she has been banned numerous times for bad mouthing them boxes. Admittedly it was fast when I had mine but didnt feel half as planted or smooth as my GTI ED30 and It cant be good to over fuel the engine, right?? Smoke like a b!tch aswel.

EDS remap all the way for them engines...

Nice car though..T8 wheels are smooth  If you like it, I suppose thats all that matters.

How can they possibly say anything bad about the superior golf??

They must be the kind of people who buy value beer from tescos and pour it into empty stella cans
