well i am going from VW to an Astra VXR and after driving a couple i really cant see what all the bad press is, they look good, go like sh!t and are fun to drive (you do have to work a bit but i like that in a car), the build is on a par to most VW's i have been in, i guess some people cant get over the badge.  :undecided:

Now way is a vauhall in par with the golf. Was in the back of a friends astra yesterday and had a 30 min fight with the seatbelt. It was trying to kill me i swear!! You only get what you pay for.... and those astras are kack!!

You also need a flame suit to post on this thread mr brave heart. There isn't 2 many threads that reach over 10 page's good luck.

I test drove a VXR, and in no way is the build on a par with any VW I have ever owned or test driven. You mentioned they look good, were you drunk when you wrote that? Perhaps you should have gone to Specsavers? Ugly as sin. Bounce all over the road, understeer like a hyundai and lose value  quicker than a pregnant hooker.

If you want to be lablelled as a chav, go buy/own one.

You do realise though that the only pussy female attention you will get if you own a poxhall will be 14 year old's who can only come out on weekends when their 28 year old mum looks after her grandchildren?
