Slag off a Vauxhall Thread

right i have a standard R32 :smiley:.. and a mate of mine has a tuned corsa vxr 239bhp and 274 ft/lb..
and he wants a little run in on a private road ofcourse! i used to have an audi tt but he had me in the corsa when i had the TT.. what do you think the outcome would be in a R32 though?

Its a Corsa...........  :grin:

Its probably FWD and will wheel spin like dog on fleshly polished floors....

It probably wont have that much low torgue which the .:R has which aids in acceleration.

You have 4WD and launch control.... Use it.

I dont know much about the Corsa though. So im probably talking rubbish....

239 in a shopping trolley. If he hooks it up off the line he will leave you behind quite easily. They are ferociously fast little cars.

If you come to a corner though, he will understeer into a tree and die.

Who cares, its a vauxhall. You drive a quality car and dont need to race chavs!  :wink: You have nothing to lose, tell him you are too busy listening to your V6.... :smiley:

In a straight line, other than 1st gear where the Corsa will be busy wheel spinning and you will gain with 4x4 grip, the Corsa should be faster down to much less weight.

He's got similar power and weighs 300kgs less..  :shocked:
