Yeah I found that one too, but its an 'alleged' 300bhp kit (the bloke admits he hasn't dyno'd it.. deja vu of the IHI kits for the 1.8T in the late 90's) and destroys bushes on the track, which is a far cry from 400bhp and even further from these 600bhp ones with stock tranmissions that intrigue me! I know there is a 600bhp mk1 mini on the scene.. but that has a 7.2L V8 and a lot of nitrous

AmD did kits for the 'S cars with a supposed 315bhp (their r/r was well known to be 15 - 20% out, depending on which day you went) with a 400bhp nitrous'd one, but that had the uprated getrag gearbox.
Aaaanyway, I want to go back to bashing vauxhalls. Especially how if the torque curve is so linear, to reach high numbers it'll have to be revving it's t!ts off. But then again there is no more satisfying sight than watching a vauxhall spit it's valves through the bonnet
