Not right there Phil, hope you get it sorted. Has the Lambda probe been damaged on the change over?

i think your right tagnut,  one of the sensors is damaged, i know its some kind of sensor fault, because theyve put new software to the cars engine management and its running worse, so to me, thats no an actual blockage of the cat, but a faulty sensor tell the ecu wrong info.

If they are replacing the cat, make sure they either test/retest the lambda sensors or replace them as well. Diagnostics should have shown up a faulty lambda sensor though.

^ as above, if they're replacing the cat they must be pretty confident that the o2 sensor is sending the right signal.

Glad to see you're getting it done under warranty Phil... wouldn't have been a nice introduction to Ed30 ownership if you had a big fat repair bill within days.  By the way, I personally wouldn't advertise the fact that it had Milltek on because you never know if someone from the dealer is reading this.

Maybe - I have been in a situation where I had a problem with a previous car, all the insisted on was me returning it to stock to replicate the fault and then they would work on it under warranty ... wierd I know, especially as the problem was not even related to the 'aftermarket' parts.

After all with Milltek ot stock exhaust it shouldnt be doing this anyway.

So if you get a full turbo back system, say from milltech, does it come with these same senders or do they have to be removed from the Factory fit Cat?

Good question!

When they put mine on they didn't do any wiring and so I'd presume that the probes are simply slotted into the Milltek unit.

the milltek cats are designed to be compatible with the stock sensors :afro:
