O.K...there has deffinatley been a misunderstanding here and i cant be arsed to type as i had to wake up early this morning...will sort it out later...didnt mean to offend u k4ith but just imagine people on the forum were like saying bla bla bla grey and u didnt like what they were saying, it can be abit disturbing....

....Hmmm....I think I might start using my fogs as Daylight Running Lights - Not constantly but in the same road circumstances that dipped heads might be appropriate.

Did you know that Hella produce a round DRL lamp that fits instead of the fogs on the Mk5 Golf but doesn't fit the GTI !!!! How stupid is that!

just been outside to look at my car. the honeycomb grills would have to be chopped to the correct size to house the drl, then brackets fabricated to hold the drl in position from the back. im sure that thease grills are cheap(ish)  so if all went rong it wouldnt be such a disaster. just need correct measurments and il have a blast at it   :wink: then its next months mod :laugh:

Joe,

Those honeycomb fog surrounds are £20 each for stealers.
And if it did go wrong you would have to factor in the cost of buying daytime running lights which which you wouldnt require anymore. So it wouldnt be a case of just getting new foggy surrounds.
